Westwand - Klettersteig (Eselstein) — via ferrata in Ramsau am Dachstein

Dachstein · Ramsau am Dachstein, Steiermark

The easiest via ferrata by the Guttenberghaus hut and the natural way down after the harder routes nearby. It never exceeds grade B, and the smoother wall sections have generous footholds. The approach is the same as for the Westgrat and takes over three hours, so the two are usually done together.
