Hausbachfall-Klettersteig — via ferrata in Reit im Winkl

Alpy Chiemgawskie · Reit im Winkl, Bayern

A waterfall ferrata right by the centre of Reit im Winkl: a ladder and tree trunks low down, a rope bridge in the middle, then an easier traverse. The route carries a TÜV certificate, which is rare for via ferratas. The route is unpleasant when wet — the guide recommends dry conditions only. For children and shorter climbers the high line of the cable raises the difficulty to C/D.
