Klettersteig Ettaler Manndl — via ferrata in Ettal

Alpy Ammergawskie · Ettal, Bayern

A quarter of an hour of easy climbing to the very summit of the Ettaler Manndl, on rock badly polished by traffic. Since 2018 a steel cable has replaced the old chains; the round trip from Ettal takes about 3.5 hours and 850 metres of ascent. The rock gets slippery after rain — the guide warns about wet conditions explicitly.
