The first via ferrata built in Czechia — the red route opened in January 2013, the blue one two months later, and the purple one joined in 2019. All three run up the granite Vodní brána massif in a bend of the Jizera below Semily and add up to roughly 420 metres of protected climbing: the blue (B/C) is the one for a first time and for children, the red (C+) is a solid middle, and the purple (D/E), with 75 metres of gain, takes an hour and asks for arm strength. Access is free all year.

Free access all year, but the rock sits inside the Údolí Jizery nature reserve — stay on the route and the marked approaches. Skip it after rain or when the rock is iced up.
