Ferrata Pamír (Driekyňská skala) — via ferrata in Slovenská Ľupča

Starohorské vrchy · Slovenská Ľupča, Banskobystrický Region

The shortest ferrata on this list: forty metres on the Driekyňská skala, two kilometres from Slovenská Ľupča near Banská Bystrica. Thirty of them are the vertical line up the tower, Pamír; the rest is a seven-metre secured descent on the other side. All the difficulty sits in one place — a five-metre overhanging section that makes for a full grade C. This is an hour’s objective, not a day’s: you come for one specific pitch, not for a route.

The C grade covers the Pamír route and matches the operator, OpenStreetMap and trip reports alike. Press coverage announced that the first stage would also include a D route — we could not confirm it exists, so this entry awaits on-site verification.
