Westgrat - Klettersteig (Eselstein) — via ferrata in Ramsau am Dachstein

Dachstein · Ramsau am Dachstein, Steiermark

Half an hour of climbing along the Eselstein ridge, finishing right at the summit. The via ferrata itself is short — what makes it a full day is the approach: over three hours from the Feistererhof car park, past the Guttenberghaus hut and a thousand metres of ascent. It loops neatly with the neighbouring Westwand, the easiest way back down.
