Dolina Wełtawy · Hluboká nad Vltavou, Jihočeský Region
The longest Czech ferrata above water: 720 metres on rocks rising straight out of the Vltava, about 8 km from Hluboká towards Purkarec. The three sections are independent and very different — A (150 m, B/C) traverses the wall just above the surface, B (400 m, C/D) is the longest and has a short overhang, and section C (170 m, B), opened in 2022, sits on the opposite bank, is reached by car from Poněšice and is the one that suits children. Access is free, but the walk-in from Hluboká alone takes over an hour.
Three independent sections. Section C (B) is the one for children, but section B (C/D) has a short overhang and is not a route for a first time.
