The largest ferrata complex in Czechia and the only one in the middle of a city: the sandstone Pastýřská stěna rises over the Elbe opposite Děčín castle, and you start from the embankment, ten minutes from the railway station. Sixteen routes share the same wall — each 150–170 metres long with about 90 metres of gain, and the operator counts 1.5–2 hours per crossing. There is no abseil: from the top, by the zoo, you walk down a marked trail. The routes opened in 2014 and are free, but the season ends with October.

Free access, but only in season. Season: April – October.
Free access, no staff — but only from 1 April to 31 October. After rain the wall stays closed for 24 hours: wet sandstone crumbles under load and climbing on it destroys the rock. The operator shows the current status as a traffic light on the website.
Harness, ferrata lanyard with absorber and helmet. Rental is at the foot of the wall, but nobody checks your gear at the start of the route.
The Active Point rental stands on the Elbe embankment at the foot of the wall — you pick up a ferrata set on the way to the start.
Requirements: The guide takes climbers from about 130 cm tall and 40–120 kg. The operator sets no limits for going in on your own.
Tickets: Free entry. You only pay for gear rental; a guided crossing with Active Point costs about 1,800 CZK solo and roughly 850–1,000 CZK per person in a group of two to five.
