Detský via ferratový areál Zvonička — via ferrata in Nová Baňa
Pohronský Inovec · Nová Baňa, Banskobystrický Region
The only ferrata area in Slovakia designed for children from the outset — below the Zvonička bell tower on the Háj massif above Nová Baňa. Its 285 metres of routes across three sectors hold seven variants graded B and B/C, horizontal and vertical rope nets, and bridges named Sokol, Zvonček and Yeti. The rock is colourful rhyolite, the slope faces south and catches the sun, and everything sits a few hundred metres from the buffet and the rental. This is a place for a first meeting with a lanyard rather than for training — but unlike a playground it demands gear and belaying exactly as any other ferrata does.

Gear and requirements
A ferrata set for everyone going up, children included: harness, lanyard with absorber and helmet. Rental is on site.
A ferrata set rental operates on site, next to the Zvonička buffet.
Requirements: The area is designed for children, but the bridges and nets take at most two people at a time — the only hard limit the operator states.
