5-Gipfel-Klettersteig (Rofan) — via ferrata in Maurach

Rofan · Maurach, Tirol

Five via ferratas on five summits above the Achensee, linked by grassy walking sections. The sections can be combined freely or skipped, and from each one it is easy to return to the Rofanseilbahn top station by the Erfurter Hütte. After rain several sections get slippery, and there is stonefall below the Rosskopf — put the helmet on before the start.

The route is a loop of five sections, graded per bergsteigen.com. Bergwelten also rates the whole route D but puts the hardest part on the Hochiss rather than the Seekarlspitze; the Tirol Werbung portal gives the Hochiss as C/D.
