Ferrata Ivano Dibona — via ferrata in Cortina d'Ampezzo

Dolomiti (Gruppo del Cristallo) · Cortina d'Ampezzo, Veneto

A ridge route on Monte Cristallo, partly following an Austro-Hungarian WWI supply path. It starts with a suspension bridge over 20 m long above Forcella Staunies, passes Bivacco Buffa di Perrero (a restored 1915 shelter) and follows the ridge to Col dei Strombi. Remote and physically demanding despite having no single very hard technical passage.

Technically not very demanding (some sources rate it closer to B than C), but very long, high-altitude and constantly exposed to the south — the difficulty comes from distance and exposure, not from any single hard move.
