Via Ferrata Cesco Tomaselli — via ferrata in Cortina d'Ampezzo

Dolomiti (Gruppo di Fanes / Lagazuoi) · Cortina d'Ampezzo, Veneto

Climbs to Punta Fanes Sud and is considered one of the harder ferratas around Cortina — heavily exposed along its whole length, with an exposed traverse over polished rock right at the start. Shorter than the big ridge ferratas (300 m of cable) but technically concentrated.

Cortina's tourist portal describes it as one of the hardest ferratas in the whole Ampezzo valley. The coordinates are Rifugio Lagazuoi, from which the approach leads to the actual start at Forcella Travenanzes (about 1 km further) — not the exact start of the cable.
