Ferrata Bolver Lugli — via ferrata in San Martino di Castrozza

Climbs to Cima Vezzana (3192 m), the highest peak of the Pale di San Martino, from the upper Col Verde cable car station. A classic Dolomite ferrata combining rock steps and short cable-protected sections with the long, high-alpine character of the whole outing.

Free access, all year.

Unstaffed, no ticket booth. In summer the route and the descent can hold snowfields — crampons and poles can be useful even in high season.

Gear and requirements

Harness, via ferrata lanyard with an energy absorber (EN 958), helmet; crampons and poles recommended on the snowy descent sections.

Tickets: The ferrata is free. The standard approach uses the paid Col Verde/Rosetta cable car from San Martino di Castrozza, saving about 500 m of ascent.
