Terms of service

⚠️ These terms describe what the service actually does and were written without a lawyer. If the service starts earning money (ads, premium profiles), they should be reviewed by a specialist. The Polish version is the binding one.

1. General

  1. The wspin.com.pl website and the “wspin.com.pl” mobile app (the Service) are a map of climbing gyms, crags and via ferratas in Poland.
  2. The Service is provided by Maciej Kotlarz Project Manager, ul. Mazowiecka 20b/4, 81-862 Sopot, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 5851436125 (the Provider). Contact: biuro@wspin.com.pl.
  3. Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy.

2. What the Service offers

  1. Without an account: the map, search, regions, crags, cities and the blog.
  2. With an account: saving favourites and “want to go” / “been there” lists, posting reviews, posting “climbing partner” adverts and chatting with other users, suggesting walls and crags, reporting safety problems, and push notifications in the Android app.
  3. The Service is free of charge.
  4. The account agreement is for an indefinite period. You can end it at any time by deleting your account (Account → Settings → Delete account on the site, or Profile → About → Delete account in the app, or as described in the privacy policy).

3. Account

  1. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  2. You give true data and keep your password secret. One person, one account.
  3. Technical requirements: a current web browser, or an Android device for the app, and an internet connection.

4. User content

  1. Reviews, adverts and messages (Content) are yours and you are responsible for them. Reviews are public and signed with your name; adverts are visible on the adverts list; messages are visible to both sides of a conversation.
  2. Not allowed: unlawful, abusive or discriminatory Content, spam and advertising, other people’s personal data without their consent, and statements that mislead others about safety when climbing.
  3. You keep the copyright. You give the Provider a non-exclusive, free licence to display the Content in the Service while it is published.
  4. You can report any review, advert or conversation in the app (“Report”) and block an advert. The Provider reviews reports without undue delay, may remove Content that breaks these terms and may suspend an account for repeated or serious breaches, telling the user why unless the law prevents it.

5. Data about places and safety

  1. Route descriptions, grades, prices, opening hours and access status are indicative and may be out of date. Check them with the venue, the manager or the park before you go.
  2. Climbing is a risk sport. You use the information and climb at your own risk. The Provider is not liable for accidents or for decisions made on the basis of data in the Service, to the extent the law allows.
  3. Before you climb outdoors, check nature-protection rules and climbing bans that apply at the place.

6. Rights and licences

  1. Route data from Fundacja WSPINKA is used under CC BY-SA 3.0, map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors. Sources are listed on the About page.
  2. Bulk copying of the Service’s data (scraping) without the Provider’s consent is not allowed, except as the open licences named above permit.

7. Complaints

  1. Send complaints about how the Service works to biuro@wspin.com.pl. The Provider answers within 14 days.
  2. Consumers may use out-of-court ways of settling disputes, including help from a local consumer ombudsman and the Trade Inspection.

8. Changes and final provisions

  1. We announce changes to these terms in the Service or by e-mail at least 14 days ahead. If you do not accept them, you can delete your account.
  2. Polish law applies. These terms are in force from 5 October 2026.
